Do food labels alter food preference?

Descriptive words to describe an apple such as ‘healthy and succulent’, or ‘succulent and healthy’ increase the likelihood of being selected as a dessert instead of chocolate. The results show that labelling increased the rate of selecting the fruit by 15.9% and 12.4% respectively.
