Are children being exposed to alcohol advertising?

Facebook, likes, fan.UK rules state that alcohol cannot be advertised in places where more than 25% of the audience is under 18 years of age. However, social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are heavily used by children and young adults who will often be subject to alcohol advertising.

Our findings highlight a need for social media sites to be more rigorously monitored and, if necessary, have limitations set for online alcohol advertising.
